After fleeing allegations of treason in Europe, Amity Merriweather and her family seek a fresh start in Salem. However, they encounter a town plagued by toxic relationships, crop failures, sick children, and deep-seated superstition.
Each death strengthens a curse buried beneath Salem's soil. Gifted with rare earth magic, Amity has always hidden her abilities. Now, she faces a choice: heal the town before hysteria escalates, or risk exposure and persecution.
Amidst this turmoil, Amity is torn between two men: a male witch hardened by abuse, willing to destroy Salem, and a scarred shoemaker with a generous heart, offering her a home and family.
As accusations mount and innocents face the gallows, Amity must decide whether to sacrifice herself for those who would see her burn or abandon Salem to its consuming curse.
