Lore by Alexandra Bracken — book slip

Every seven years, the Agon begins, forcing nine Greek gods to walk the earth as mortals, hunted by descendants of ancient bloodlines eager to seize their power and immortality. Lore Perseous, who fled this brutal world after her family's murder, is drawn back into the hunt in New York City. When childhood friend Castor reappears and the wounded goddess Athena seeks her alliance, Lore must confront a new god threatening humanity's existence.
