Dark Rover's Luck by I. T. Lucas — book slip

For five decades, Fenella has led the life of a ghost, wandering from place to place and relying solely on herself.

Now, while seeking refuge in the immortals' hidden village, she uncovers an unexpected connection that may inspire her to stay longer than she planned. Din has held a torch for Fenella for half a century.

Yet, instead of the spirited bartender he fell for, he encounters a hardened, disillusioned nomad who struggles to remain in one place for long.

Some secrets are meant to remain buried, while others are destined to be revealed, and sometimes, luck is simply a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
