Empire of the Dawn by Jay Kristoff — book slip

Gabriel de León has lost everything—his family, his faith, and his hope of ending the eternal night. With vengeance as his only desire, he and his loyal brothers journey into the heart of the Augustin Empire to confront the Forever King.

Unbeknownst to Gabriel, the Holy Grail, Dior, still lives, racing towards the besieged capital in a desperate attempt to end Daysdeath forever.

As treachery lurks within the halls of power and the Forever King's legions advance, Gabriel and Dior are drawn into a final battle that will determine the Empire's fate.

But as the sun sets for what may be the last time, trust becomes a rare commodity, even between them.

For fans of dark, epic fantasy with a touch of humor and intense character development.
