Devil’s Lair by Anna Zaires — book slip

On the run from ruthless killers, the protagonist finds herself with only ten dollars and a half-tank of gas when she stumbles upon an ad for a live-in tutor position. The job promises a generous salary but comes with a catch: the child's father, Nikolai Molotov, is as dangerous as he is alluring. Nikolai is a man of contradictions—darkly seductive, filthy rich, and a tantalizing mystery. Despite her instincts to flee, she is drawn to him, finding herself ensnared in his world of secrets and power. As she becomes more entangled in Nikolai's life, she realizes that her supposed safe haven might just be the devil's lair.

First in the Molotov Obsession series.
