Knotted by the Scot by Amaya Black — book slip

When rival crime queen Maddie Steward goes into heat during a bloody Edinburgh shootout, the last person she expects to come for her is Duncan Galbraith—the ruthless eagle-shifting Alpha known as The Laird. He kidnaps her to an abandoned Highland compound, where two enemies, one uncontrollable heat, and enough weapons to build a nest might turn their territory war into something far more dangerous.
