Blood Bound
Astrid, the last Nachstern witch and heir to the Queendom of Arturea, is bound by a centuries-old covenant to duel Prince Zryan, the most powerful dragon rider of the Kingdom of Vatra, for the Heart, the source of all magic.
As she ventures into enemy territory, Astrid is prepared to face her destiny with only her familiar and her wits.
Meanwhile, Skylar, a member of a traveling troupe, arrives in Vatra's capital, seeking profit amidst the chaos of the upcoming duel. However, when her best friend disappears, Skylar's search brings her closer to the royals she despises.
As the duel approaches, Astrid and Skylar's paths intertwine, forcing them to confront a rebellion, their inner demons, and the ones they love most.
