Slay by Laurell K. Hamilton — book slip

Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series continues with its thirtieth installment, 'Slay'. As Anita Blake, a necromancer and U.S. Marshal, prepares for her wedding to Jean-Claude, the newly crowned vampire king of America, she faces the daunting task of introducing him to her very religious, very human relatives. Amidst the chaos of family tensions, dark forces threaten to exploit the situation, putting Anita's happily-ever-after and everyone's immortal souls at risk. Blood may make you related, but loyalty makes you family.
