Dark Overlord New Horizon by I.T. Lucas — book slip

Jacki possesses two unique abilities: she experiences unpredictable glimpses into others' futures and is immune to mind manipulation. These talents lead her to a role in the government's paranormal division, which initially seems ideal.

However, upon discovering the director's plan to compel recruits into pairing up to produce 'super babies,' Jacki seizes an opportunity to escape.

Her journey reveals that humans are not at the top of the food chain; immortals exist, with Kalugal reigning supreme. Kalugal is the most powerful, arrogant, and alluring male Jacki has ever encountered.

Despite the intense attraction he ignites in her, Jacki is determined not to settle for anything less than his heart.
