How it starts

When Osric Mordaunt, a member of the Fyren Order of assassins, falls ill, he finds himself in desperate need of a healer from the rival Haelan Order. Aurienne Fairhrim, a dedicated healer, is overwhelmed by an outbreak of a long-forgotten Pox affecting children. With her order struggling for funds, she reluctantly accepts Osric's bribe to heal him. As they work together to solve his illness and the mystery of the Pox's resurgence, they must navigate their growing attraction and the tension of their opposing loyalties.
