How it starts

Maeve Chambers, a 16-year-old student at St. Bernadette's Catholic school, discovers an old deck of tarot cards during an in-school suspension. She begins offering readings to her classmates, gaining popularity for her accurate insights. However, when her former best friend, Lily O'Callaghan, draws a mysterious card called The Housekeeper, an argument ensues, and Maeve wishes Lily would disappear. Shortly after, Lily vanishes without a trace. Maeve, along with her new friend Fiona and Lily's gender-fluid sibling Roe, embarks on a quest to find Lily, delving into the supernatural elements tied to the tarot deck and confronting a malevolent force known as the Housekeeper.
