How it starts

Mira, an engineer in the underwater city of Beta, strives to make her family proud and prove her worth. She knows the city intimately and dreams of helping it flourish. During a solo mission in an abandoned section, she encounters Arges, an undine—a dangerous merman from an ancient, forgotten civilization. Arges has dedicated his life to protecting his people and plans to eradicate Beta to preserve their peaceful way of life. When Mira saves him, an unintended bond forms between them. Arges captures her, intending to use her for information, but their relationship evolves beyond captor and captive, challenging their perceptions and the fate of their worlds. ⚠️ Content note: Themes of captivity and abduction.
