How it starts

Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is on a mission to eliminate the undead, hoping to find and kill her vampire father who ruined her mother's life. Her quest leads her to Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, who captures her and proposes an alliance. In exchange for his help in locating her father, Cat agrees to train with Bones to enhance her combat skills. As they work together, Cat's perception of vampires begins to change, and she finds herself drawn to Bones. Their partnership becomes more complex when they are pursued by a group of killers, forcing Cat to make critical decisions about her alliances and her own identity.
