How it starts

Aerial performer Zita has spent ten years preparing for one thing: revenge. With an iron blade hidden in her silks, she plans to kill the fae Prince of Monsters—the man who murdered her sister. But when her plan fails spectacularly, Zita is captured and collared as the prince's "pet." Sepher is everything she expected: cruel, cunning, and as dangerous as the claws he keeps sheathed. Yet his patience and obsession are their own kind of torment, and his punishments blur the line between pain and pleasure. Zita refuses to surrender, even if it costs her freedom—or her heart. But the longer she remains in the prince’s court, the harder it is to tell which of them is truly playing the game… and which of them is losing. ⚠️ Content note: This book contains themes of cruelty, violence, and fantasies about punishment, as well as references to sexual assault and murder.
