How it starts

Zamira 'Reckless' Wilson, a shifter cursed by her desert homeland, embarks on a perilous journey into the Witch's Reign—a land of eternal winter ruled by the formidable Ice Witch and her deadly supernatural guardians: Wolf, Bear, and Raven. To reach this treacherous realm, Zamira must first traverse the Dragon's Ground, inhabited by dragons hostile to intruders. Defying her mentor's orders, she sets out to rescue her best friend, Darcy, who vanished while retrieving a powerful jewel. Along the way, Zamira is accompanied by an unexpected human companion, a sentient weapon with a mind of its own, and a small dragon fond of Shakespearean insults. Together, they face a gauntlet of magic, danger, and deception in a quest that will test their limits.
