How it starts

In 'The Maiden & The Unseen,' Hades, the God of the Dead, is tasked with helping the gods assimilate into the mortal world under Zeus's decree. As the King of the Underworld, Hades has spent years among mortals, building a fortune and enforcing strict rules for the gods' conduct. Meanwhile, Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, has been living among mortals for two years, bound by her mother Demeter's rules: no fraternizing with gods, no relationships with men, and regular visits from her mother.
